Kristi Paulson, AIA
Principal, ZGF

Kristi Paulson is an architect and designer with 13 years of experience in architecture, planning, and programming of complex projects ranging from educational, residential, and mixed-use projects to museums and sports facilities. She spent the early part of her career in Seattle as a Project Designer for LMN Architects then moved to Los Angeles to lead the Behnisch Architekten office as a Project Partner. Currently she is a Design Principal at ZGF Architects in Los Angeles. Her clients include the California Science Center, University of California Berkeley, City of Kent and the University of Washington. Kristi has a special interest in the discovery of innovative ideas and solutions through the combination of sophisticated design, high-performance objectives, and user experience. She sees architecture as a cultural, intellectual and compulsory endeavor. Kristi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Washington and a Master of Architecture from the University of British Columbia. She has lectured internationally and has served as an Architecture Critic for Washington University in St. Louis, the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Southern California.
