February 22, 2016—COTE AIA LA focuses for 2016 will be the poetic and pragmatic relationship between architecture and Air, Water and Land. These current initiatives build on past programming which included tours of the Hyperion Waste Water Treatment Plant and El Segundo Refinery in 2014, as well as collaborations with Aclima and TreePeople in 2015.

COTE LA welcomes 2016 vice-chair Christof Jantzen, FAIA, of Studio Jantzen, who together with new chair Mona Telega of Monmark Agency will develop programming that supports environmental education with AIA CEUs for AIA|LA members. Past chairs, Ben Loescher, AIA, of Loescher Meachem Architects and Nicole Cannon, AIA, of NCA Studio, continue their involvement.

Please join us in actions that help our city become a sustainable place for us, our clients and all Angelenos! The committee’s March 2 program addresses Residential Greywater Systems for Architects.
