The City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning and Department of Transportation are holding an Open House and Public Hearing for the Development Impact Fee Program Update (updates to the Coastal Transportation Corridor Specific Plan and West Los Angeles Transportation Improvement and Mitigation Plan)

Coastal Transportation Corridor Specific Plan (CTCSP) and West Los Angeles Transportation Improvement & Mitigation Specic Plan (WLA TIMP) Update

The CTCSP and the WLA TIMP are two existing Specific Plans that established development impact fee programs on the Westside. The City of Los Angeles will hold an Open House/Public Hearing regarding proposed updates to these two Specific Plan fee programs, in accordance with the Los Angeles City Charter.

Currently, the two existing Specific Plans assess development impact fees on new commercial and industrial development. The proposed amendments would update the fees and would include a fee for new residential development. Existing housing and affordable housing would not be subject to fees. The impact fees are intended to mitigate the impacts of new development.
