Presenters Joey Sarafian, Assoc. AIA and Ron Culver, AIA of Form Found Design and Steve Lewis of Walter P. Moore discuss the integration of robots in the construction industry.

Profiling their latest project, MARS Pavilion, they demonstrate how robotic arms are used to create unique, adjustable formworks for concrete. (1.0 AIA LU/HSW)

4:00pm – 4:50pm    Interactive Simulation for Client Engagement

Senior Designer Justin Brechtel, AIA from Perkins+Will presents a Case Study example using VR simulation in a recent healthcare project.

This seminar showcases the potential of interactivity within a virtual reality environment for client understanding and approval of design intent.

The discussion will cover hardware and software requirements, lessons learned in building and testing the simulation, and feedback obtained from users. (1.0 AIA LU/HSW)
