Leanna Libourel, AIA
Presidential Citation:
In recognition of your determination, dedication and support of Emerging Professionals in navigating the licensure process. You have encouraged many during both their intern development and navigation of the testing process. Through your presentations to groups and guidance to individuals across the State; personal engagement with and encouragement of your peers, and through your significant participation in the development of NCARB processes, documentation, and communications, you have made a positive and profound impact at all levels of the professional and licensure organizations, and for this we commend you.

Douglas Noble, FAIA and Karen M. Kensek, Assoc. AIA Presidential Citation:
In recognition of your efforts as a team to create three outstanding programs that support and encourage AIA participation and membership: The NotLY licensing program, the Facade Tectonics Institute, and the annual USC BIM Symposia.

Through the NotLY program, you have encouraged and inspired architects and engineers to become active volunteers to prepare and present architecture licensing preparation classes. Your efforts have resulted in successful navigation of the licensure process.. The Facade Tectonics Institute has become a global resource for research and education related to the building enclosure, while the USC BIM program is the outgrowth of more than 20 years of leadership of the AIA Los Angeles Computer Committee. These efforts have resulted in touching countless participants and myriad publications, advancing the arts and sciences of BIM and facades. On behalf of the American Institute of Architects, California Council, we commend your efforts and extend our deepest appreciation.
