Apply Now: 2013 Ex-Officio Associate Director on AIA|LA Board

ATTN: AIA Los Angeles Associate Members

In an effort to further engage and foster the next generation of architects, the AIA Los Angeles Board of Directors invites Associate Members of AIA|LA to apply for a position on the 2013 Board as the Ex-Officio Associate Director.

The AIA|LA Ex-Officio Associate Director of the Board has the same responsibilities and privileges of all other Board Members, except this is a non-voting position that ends at the close of 2013. This position will collaborate with the elected Associate Director (Rogerio Carvalheiro, Assoc. AIA) who does have a vote on the Board.

The Ex-Officio position has been created to expose an Associate Member to the inner-workings of the AIA|LA leadership and train him/her for future leadership roles with the Chapter. Candidates must be current Associate Members-in-good-standing of the AIA Los Angeles Chapter and cannot be licensed in any other State, but may be working towards licensure.

Important Note: The selected Ex-Officio Associate Director will be invited to run for the voting Associate Director position for the calendar year following their ex-officio term, but the position is not guaranteed and the individual must still be elected by the popular vote of fellow AIA|LA Associate members.

To apply for the 2013 Ex-Officio Associate Director position, please complete the application below by Tuesday, April 30, 2013 @ 5:00 PM.
